This Yamaha wings patch features gold-yellow feather sections and matching YAMAHA lettering across a black name panel. A red circular tuning fork emblem sits above the centre, while red embroidered outlines trace the wings and pointed lower shield against the black background.
With a listed size of 110 × 73 mm, this embroidered motorcycle badge adds a contrasting winged motif to a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag. Gold yellow describes the thread color, not precious-metal content.
- Design: Yamaha lettering with outstretched wings, tuning fork emblem and lower shield
- Patch color: Gold yellow, red & black
- Size: 110 × 73 mm, as shown on the supplied image
- Shape: Contoured winged badge with pointed lower shield
- Details: Gold-yellow feathers and lettering, red emblem and outlines
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright and smooth the fabric underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Cover the entire design, including both wing tips and the lower shield point, without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the patch flat and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow the wing tips and lower point carefully and avoid pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
