This Vespa wings patch features a black circular centre with dark navy-blue Vespa script, flanked by outstretched white embroidered wings. Navy-blue outlines trace the centre and wing details against the black background and contoured outer edge.
Measuring 150 × 48 mm, this wide, low-profile scooter badge adds a winged emblem to a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag. Layered feather stitching contrasts with the dark centre.
- Design: Winged circular Vespa emblem
- Patch color: Black, white & navy blue
- Size: 150 × 48 mm
- Shape: Wide contoured wings with circular centre
- Details: Layered white feather embroidery, dark blue script and outlines
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright with both wings flat and smooth the fabric underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Cover the full design, including both wing tips, without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the badge flat and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow the wing tips and feather edges carefully, avoiding pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
