This playful Vespa embroidered patch blends a yellow scooter with a wasp-like striped rear body and large white wings. Black outlines define the wheel, bodywork and insect details, while a light stitched outer edge follows the contoured design.
Measuring 82 × 90 mm, the scooter-and-wasp motif adds a distinctive detail to a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag. Its bright yellow embroidery and winged silhouette stand out without a rectangular background panel.
- Design: Vespa scooter combined with a striped wasp body and wings
- Patch color: Yellow, white & black
- Size: 82 × 90 mm
- Shape: Contoured winged scooter silhouette
- Details: Yellow bodywork, striped rear section, white wings and black embroidered outlines
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the scooter upright and smooth the fabric underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Cover the whole design, including the wings and wheel, without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the badge in position and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow the wings and projecting edges carefully, keeping the fabric flat and avoiding pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
