This round Vespa rider patch features a black scooter-and-rider silhouette above white Vespa script outlined in black. White FATTO IN ITALIA DAL 1946 lettering curves across a green ring, surrounded by red and white edging.
Measuring 78 mm in diameter, this embroidered badge adds a tricolour scooter motif to a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag. The Italian wording and 1946 date are part of the decorative design, not a statement about this patch's manufacturing origin or production date.
- Design: Scooter rider silhouette with Vespa script and FATTO IN ITALIA DAL 1946 lettering
- Patch color: Green, red, white & black
- Size: 78 mm diameter
- Shape: Round with red and white edging
- Details: Green slogan ring, white centre and black rider silhouette
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright and smooth the fabric underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Cover the full circular design and border without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the badge flat and stitch around its circular border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Keep the fabric smooth and avoid pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing and avoid scrubbing the embroidery. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
