This Vespa Rally Bad Ass Wasp big patch depicts a fierce cartoon wasp with yellow and black stripes, gritted teeth and raised fists. A red aviator cap, yellow goggles, pale wings and light grey gloves add contrast, while blue-grey edging follows the antennae, wings and pointed stinger.
Measuring 250 × 295 mm, this large embroidered back patch brings the Bad Ass Wasp motif to a suitable jacket, vest or large fabric bag. Choose a flat fabric panel with enough room for the full shaped design and projecting details.
- Design: Vespa Rally Bad Ass Wasp with aviator cap, goggles and clenched fists
- Patch color: Yellow, black, red, off-white, light grey & blue-grey
- Size: 250 × 295 mm
- Shape: Contoured wasp silhouette with wings, antennae and stinger
- Details: Striped body, gritted teeth, pale wings and raised gloved fists
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the wasp upright and smooth the entire fabric panel underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Work across the large design in sections as directed, covering the body, wings, fists and antennae without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment around every edge. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the large badge flat and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow the wings, antennae and stinger carefully, avoiding pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
