This Vespa Racer embroidered patch depicts a helmeted rider leaning into a turn on a scooter. Black silhouettes and white highlights define the rider and bodywork, above an outlined Vespa script and bold RACER lettering. A white contoured border frames the complete design.

Measuring 73 × 68 mm, this compact scooter badge adds a racing-inspired detail to a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag. Its monochrome design combines a dynamic rider motif with clearly contrasting lettering.

  • Design: Leaning scooter rider with Vespa script and RACER lettering
  • Patch color: Black & white
  • Size: 73 × 68 mm
  • Shape: Contoured rider and lettering silhouette
  • Details: Helmeted rider, angled scooter and white outer border
  • Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

  1. Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
  2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright and smooth the fabric underneath.
  3. Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
  4. Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Cover the full design, including the rider and projecting edges, without sliding the iron.
  5. Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.

Sew-On Option

Secure the badge flat and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow the rider and lettering outline carefully, avoiding pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.

Care

Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
