This large Vespa embroidered patch depicts a white scooter with red flames across its rear body panel and a small red Vespa script on the front. Dark grey seat, wheels and handlebar details contrast with the white bodywork, while a black outer border follows the scooter silhouette.
Measuring 240 × 190 mm, the big patch makes a statement on a suitable jacket back, vest or spacious fabric bag. Allow room around the handlebars and both wheels so the full contoured design sits flat.
- Design: White Vespa scooter with red flames and red Vespa script
- Patch color: White, red, dark grey & black
- Size: 240 × 190 mm
- Shape: Contoured scooter silhouette
- Format: Big patch suitable for a sufficiently large back panel
- Details: Grey seat and wheels, red rear-panel flames and black outer border
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Check that the entire large patch fits the panel without crossing seams or pockets. Position the scooter upright and smooth the fabric underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Work across the entire large design as directed for the backing, including the handlebars and wheels, without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required. Consider stitching around the border to reinforce this large patch where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the full patch flat in position and stitch around its contoured black border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow both wheels and the projecting handlebar carefully. Avoid catching pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
