This large Vespa scooter patch features bright green bodywork, a black seat and mirrors, and a grey surround finished with a black outer edge. Pale headlight and indicator details contrast with the green panels, while grey wheel and engine details complete the angled scooter design. A small black Vespa script appears on the rear body panel.
Measuring 210 × 200 mm, this embroidered back patch creates a prominent scooter detail on a suitable jacket, vest or large fabric bag. Choose a flat fabric panel with enough room for the full contoured design.
- Design: Green Vespa scooter in an angled view with mirrors and script detail
- Patch color: Green, grey, black & white
- Size: 210 × 200 mm
- Shape: Contoured scooter with grey surround and black edging
- Details: Black seat, pale lights, stitched body panels and grey mechanical details
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the scooter upright and smooth the entire fabric panel underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Work across the large design in sections as directed, covering the body, wheels and mirrors without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment around every edge. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the large badge flat and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow the wheels and mirror outlines carefully, avoiding pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
