This large Vespa banner patch features black script lettering and a sweeping underline across green, red and white panels. The curved ribbon design has folded ends, pale edging and light grey fold details that give the illustrated banner depth.
Measuring 340 × 112 mm, this wide embroidered back patch adds a prominent scooter-inspired detail to a suitable jacket, vest or large fabric bag. Choose a flat fabric panel with enough space for the full curved banner and projecting ribbon ends.
- Design: Vespa script logo on a curved ribbon banner
- Patch color: Green, red, white, black & light grey
- Size: 340 × 112 mm
- Shape: Arched banner with folded ribbon ends
- Details: Black lettering, sweeping underline, contrasting panels and shaded folds
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright and smooth the entire fabric panel underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Work across the wide design in sections as directed, covering the banner and ribbon ends without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment around every edge. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the large badge flat and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow the curved edges and ribbon ends carefully, avoiding pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
