This large Vespa script logo patch features blue lettering with white contrasting areas and a long underline. Its tall curved initial and shaped outer edge follow the wordmark rather than a rectangular background.
Measuring 260 × 140 mm, this big back patch creates a scooter-themed focal point on a suitable jacket or vest back, or a large fabric bag. Check the available panel before positioning the design so the entire script sits flat without crossing seams.
- Design: Vespa script logo with curved initial and underline
- Patch color: Blue & white
- Size: 260 × 140 mm
- Format: Big patch / back patch
- Shape: Contoured script and underline
- Details: Blue lettering, white contrasting accents and blue outer outline
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the script upright on a panel large enough for the whole design and smooth the fabric underneath.
- Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Work across the full design in sections as directed by those instructions, including the tall initial and both ends of the underline, without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment across the whole patch. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required. Reinforce with stitching where suitable, particularly on this larger design.
Sew-On Option
Secure the patch flat and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow the script and underline carefully, avoiding pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the design and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the patch face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
