This colourful Mods embroidered patch depicts two smiling, pointed-head cartoon figures riding a red scooter against a yellow background. A Union Jack detail decorates the scooter's rear body panel, while an oval Mods wordmark sits above the scene. Green background accents and a pale stitched border complete the upright rectangle.
Measuring 95 × 137 mm, the illustrated badge makes a playful addition to a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag. Its tall format gives the scooter scene room to stand out among smaller patches.
- Design: Two cartoon riders on a red scooter beneath an oval Mods wordmark
- Patch color: Yellow, red, cream, green, blue, white & black
- Size: 95 × 137 mm
- Shape: Upright rectangle
- Details: Union Jack scooter panel, smiling characters, rear basket and pale outer border
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the scene upright and smooth the fabric underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Cover the whole rectangle, including all four corners, without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the badge in position and stitch around its rectangular border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Keep the fabric flat, follow each corner and avoid catching pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the corners from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
