This Michelin Man embroidered patch depicts white Bibendum riding an orange scooter with one arm raised. Black outlines define the figure's stacked tyre-like body, while grey and white details highlight the scooter's wheels, bodywork and handlebar. A light outer border follows the whole silhouette.

Measuring 90 × 110 mm, the shaped badge adds a playful scooter detail to a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag. Give the waving character a panel of its own or combine it with other scooter-themed patches.

  • Design: Waving Michelin Man, also known as Bibendum, on a scooter
  • Patch color: White, orange, black & grey
  • Size: 90 × 110 mm
  • Shape: Contoured rider and scooter silhouette
  • Details: Raised arm, segmented white character, orange scooter and contrasting wheel embroidery
  • Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

  1. Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
  2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the rider upright and smooth the fabric underneath.
  3. Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
  4. Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Cover the whole design, including the raised arm and wheels, without sliding the iron.
  5. Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.

Sew-On Option

Secure the badge in position and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Follow the raised arm and wheels carefully, keeping the fabric flat and avoiding pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.

Care

Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
