How to Apply with an Iron

1. Check the garment's care label and adhesive backing instructions before starting. For heat-sensitive, coated or non-ironable fabrics, use the sew-on method.
2. Place the garment on a firm, heat-resistant surface and position the patch with its adhesive side against the fabric. Make sure the patch lies flat.
3. Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select a temperature permitted by both the garment and adhesive backing instructions.
4. Press firmly without sliding the iron, using the heating time specified for the backing. Do not exceed the fabric's permitted temperature or heating time.
5. Let the patch and garment cool completely before checking the edges. If attachment is incomplete, follow the backing instructions for another press or secure the border with stitching.

Sew-On Option and Care

Sew around the rectangular border with a thread suitable for your garment. Additional edge stitching is also an option for frequently washed clothing. Follow the garment's care label, check the attachment before washing and avoid placing an uncovered hot iron directly on the embroidery.
