Make a bold statement across the back of your jacket with this large Independent lettering patch. White Gothic-style letters contrast with a black background, following the curve of the wide rocker-shaped design.
Measuring 360 × 100 mm, this embroidered back patch creates a strong focal point on denim jackets and fabric vests. Position it across the upper back and build a personal patch arrangement beneath it, or let the lettering stand alone.

Iron-On & Sewing Instructions
Sewing around the entire border is recommended for secure attachment of this large patch. Check the backing before applying heat. Only iron on if a heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment care label permits ironing. If unsure, sew on instead.
- Lay the garment flat and position the patch, checking the curve and alignment.
- For sewing, secure the patch in place and stitch around the entire outer border with suitable thread.
- If the backing supports ironing, cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth and use a dry iron without steam.
- Follow the adhesive supplier's temperature and pressing-time instructions, without exceeding the garment's permitted ironing temperature. Work evenly across the patch as directed.
- Allow everything to cool completely before checking the bond. Reinforce the border with stitches.
Do not iron onto leather, coated fabrics or heat-sensitive synthetics unless their manufacturer explicitly permits it. Sew on when heat is unsuitable.
Care Instructions
- Follow garment and backing care instructions, choosing the gentler requirements.
- Where washing is permitted, wash inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
- Do not bleach, soak or scrub the embroidery.
- Air dry; avoid tumble drying and direct heat.
- Never iron directly on the embroidery; use a pressing cloth.
- Check edges after washing and reinforce loose areas with stitches.
