Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the shield upright and smooth the fabric beneath both wings. Check the alignment of the extended tips before attaching.
3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature. Work across this wide badge in sections as instructed, covering the central shield, feathers and both wing tips.
5. Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.

Sew-On Option

Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the outer border, carefully following the feather contours, tapered wing tips and lower shield curve. Keep the fabric flat and avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment on this wide patch.
