Add a compact winged emblem to your patch arrangement with this Harley-Davidson embroidered badge. Grey feather details extend to either side of a red-and-black Motor Cycles shield, with white Harley-Davidson lettering across the centre.
Measuring 120 × 37 mm, this slim horizontal design adds a motorcycle-themed accent without taking up a large area. Position it on a suitable jacket, vest or fabric bag, either on its own or alongside your other badges.
- Design: Outstretched wings framing a Motor Harley-Davidson Cycles shield
- Patch color: Grey, red, black & white
- Size: 120 × 37 mm
- Details: Grey feather outlines, red shield sections, black detailing and white central lettering
- Shape: Slim contoured winged badge with black outer edging
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if the patch has an iron-on adhesive backing and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the shield upright and smooth the fabric beneath both wings.
- Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering the centre and wing tips as instructed.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer edge, following the wing tips and shield contours while keeping the fabric flat. Avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the wing tips from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
