Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

1. Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the shield upright and smooth the fabric beneath the complete badge. Keep all narrow tips flat and aligned.
3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature. Work across this large badge in sections as instructed, covering the shield, skull, side ornaments and projecting tips.
5. Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.

Sew-On Option

Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, carefully following the elongated tribal points and central skull contours. Secure slender tips carefully while keeping the fabric flat. Avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment on this large patch.

Care

Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the pointed extensions from snagging.
