Make a dramatic centrepiece for your patch arrangement with this Harley-Davidson embroidered big patch. A cracked grey skull with red eyes and white teeth appears between skeletal claws, framed by jagged red torn-effect shapes against a black background.
Pale stylised Harley-Davidson lettering arches across the top. Measuring 230 × 265 mm, this tall contoured badge gives a suitable jacket back, vest or fabric bag a bold skull motif. The torn-effect shapes are part of the embroidered design, not actual damage to the patch.

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the skull upright and smooth the fabric beneath the full patch, including the upper lettering and lower jagged contours.
- Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature. Work across this large badge in sections as instructed, covering the skull, claws, lettering and outer edges.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, carefully following the lettering ends, skeletal claw shapes and jagged lower contours. Keep the fabric flat and avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment on this large patch.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
