Make a bold centrepiece for your patch arrangement with this round Harley-Davidson skull big patch. A large light-grey skull with sharply angled black eye sockets sits inside a black circular field, surrounded by curved Harley-Davidson Motorcycles lettering.
With a diameter of 230 mm, this embroidered design creates a prominent feature on the back of a suitable jacket or vest. The restrained light-grey-and-black palette makes it easy to combine with other monochrome motorcycle badges.
- Design: Large central skull framed by Harley-Davidson Motorcycles lettering
- Patch color: Light grey & black
- Size: 230 mm diameter
- Details: Angled eye sockets, black nose and tooth details, curved outer lettering
- Shape: Round badge with black circular edging
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Centre the skull upright and smooth the fabric beneath the entire circular patch.
- Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature. Work across the centre and circular edge as instructed, treating the full patch without exceeding garment heat limits.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the circular outline with stitching where appropriate.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer edge, keeping the circular shape smooth and the fabric flat. Avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment around this large design.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect it from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
