Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

1. Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright and smooth the fabric beneath the entire patch, including both wing tips.
3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature. Work across the large design in sections as instructed, treating the lettering, wings and lower edge without exceeding garment heat limits.
5. Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.

Sew-On Option

Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, carefully following the raised wing tips and curved lower contours.
