Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

1. Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Use heat only if the patch has an iron-on adhesive backing and the fabric is suitable. Do not iron onto leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer expressly permits it.
2. Place the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the oval badge with the Motorcycles script horizontal.
3. Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Turn off steam and use only the temperature permitted by both the garment and backing instructions.
4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing instructions for pressing time and temperature, including any reverse-side pressing where permitted.
5. Allow the patch and garment to cool completely before checking the edges gently. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitches.

Sew-On Option

Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment and stitch around the black oval border. Keep the fabric flat and avoid sewing through pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce an adhesive attachment where appropriate.
