Add a Stars-and-Stripes-inspired detail to your patch arrangement with this Harley-Davidson number 1 embroidered badge. White stars fill the blue upper section, with red-and-white vertical stripes continuing down the numeral. Black Harley-Davidson lettering sits across the pale lower bar.

Measuring 50 × 75 mm, the compact shaped design makes a distinctive accent on a suitable jacket, vest or fabric bag. Black outer edging defines the numeral's silhouette. The USA-inspired motif describes the design, not its manufacturing origin.

  • Design: Number 1 with stars-and-stripes pattern
  • Patch color: Red, white, blue & black
  • Size: 50 × 75 mm
  • Lettering: Harley-Davidson in black across the lower bar
  • Details: White stars on blue, vertical red-white stripes and black outer border
  • Shape: Contoured number 1 badge
  • Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

  1. Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
  2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the numeral upright and smooth the fabric beneath the entire patch.
  3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
  4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, treating the top, stem and lower bar as instructed.
  5. Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.

Sew-On Option

Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, following the numeral's corners while keeping the fabric flat. Avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.

Care

Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the corners from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
