Add a compact monochrome detail to your patch layout with this Harley-Davidson number 1 skull embroidered badge. A white skull occupies the top of the black numeral, with two long white lines extending down its stem. Black eye sockets and a triangular nose opening give the skull its stark expression.
A Harley-Davidson word panel forms the base of the design, framed in white embroidery. The 50 × 70 mm format offers a distinctive accent for a suitable jacket, vest or bag, on its own or alongside other motorcycle-themed patches.
- Design: Number 1 with integrated elongated skull motif
- Patch color: Black & white
- Size: 50 × 70 mm
- Details: White skull, black eye sockets, long white vertical lines and outlined lower name panel
- Lettering: Harley-Davidson across the base
- Shape: Contoured number 1 with black outer edging
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Use this method only with an iron-on adhesive backing and heat-compatible fabric. Avoid coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer expressly permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the skull at the top and the Harley-Davidson name panel at the bottom.
- Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both garment and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering the skull, narrow stem and lower panel without exceeding garment heat limits.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the outline. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the edges with stitches.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment and stitch around the contoured black border. Secure the upper corner and lower name panel while keeping the fabric flat. Avoid sewing through unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce an adhesive attachment where appropriate.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the corners from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
