Give your patch arrangement a bold horizontal headline with this Harley-Davidson embroidered lettering big patch. Black slanted letters are framed by an orange-red outline, with dark outer edging following the angular script silhouette.
Measuring 435 × 72 mm, this extra-wide, slim design creates a prominent lettering feature across a suitable jacket or vest. Extended strokes and pointed letter details give the single-line wordmark a dynamic appearance. Check the available flat garment area before choosing a position.
- Design: Single-line slanted Harley-Davidson lettering
- Patch color: Black & orange-red
- Size: 435 × 72 mm
- Details: Dark letter centres, warm orange-red contours and shaped outer edging
- Shape: Long horizontal lettering strip with angular flourishes
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright and smooth the fabric beneath the full length of the patch.
- Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature. Work along the long design in sections as instructed, treating the centre and shaped letter edges without exceeding garment heat limits.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the outer border, carefully following the lettering contours and pointed strokes. Keep the fabric flat along the full length and avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the projecting letter tips from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
