Make a fierce wild boar the centrepiece of your patch arrangement with this Harley-Davidson HOG embroidered big patch. Red eyes stand out against layered dark-grey facial details, while pale tusks and light-grey highlights frame the snout on a black background.

Large HOG lettering fills the lower section of the shield-shaped design. Measuring 195 × 262 mm, this bold animal motif creates a prominent feature on the back of a suitable jacket or vest, with pointed contours and feather-like textures adding depth to the face.

  • Design: Stylised wild boar head with red eyes, curved tusks and HOG lettering
  • Patch color: Black, dark grey, light grey & red
  • Size: 195 × 262 mm
  • Details: Layered facial stitching, pale tusks, visible teeth and light outlined border
  • Shape: Tall shield-style badge with pointed and jagged contours
  • Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

  1. Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
  2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the boar upright and smooth the fabric beneath the entire shield-shaped patch.
  3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
  4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature. Work across the centre, shaped sides and lower point as instructed without exceeding garment heat limits.
  5. Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.

Sew-On Option

Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, following the pointed upper edge, jagged sides and curved lower section. Keep the fabric flat and avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment around this large design.

Care

Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the pointed edges from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
