Add a monochrome skull motif to your patch arrangement with this Harley-Davidson embroidered badge. A light grey skull sits beneath a black helmet outlined in pale stitching, with dark eye sockets and contrasting facial details.

Curved light grey banners frame the design, carrying black Harley lettering above and Davidson lettering below. Measuring 90 × 118 mm, this tall contoured badge makes a distinctive accent on a suitable jacket, vest or fabric bag.

  • Design: Skull wearing a black helmet between curved lettering banners
  • Patch color: Black & light grey
  • Size: 90 × 118 mm
  • Lettering: Harley above and Davidson below the skull
  • Details: Pale helmet outline, dark eye sockets and embroidered skull teeth
  • Shape: Contoured helmet-and-skull badge with upper and lower banners
  • Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

  1. Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
  2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the helmet upright and smooth the fabric beneath the full patch, including both banners.
  3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
  4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering the helmet, skull and banner ends as instructed.
  5. Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.

Sew-On Option

Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, carefully following the helmet contours and curved banner ends. Keep the fabric flat and avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.

Care

Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
