Add a classic eagle-and-shield motif to your patch arrangement with this Harley-Davidson embroidered badge. An eagle with outstretched grey wings, a white head and yellow beak rests above a black Motor Harley-Davidson Cycles shield. Yellow talons and red shield details add contrasting colour accents.

Measuring 120 × 72 mm, the wide winged silhouette makes a distinctive feature on a suitable jacket, vest or fabric bag. Pale central lettering stands out against the dark shield, while layered feather stitching defines each wing.

  • Design: Eagle with horizontally spread wings above a shield
  • Patch color: Grey, white, yellow, red & black
  • Size: 120 × 72 mm
  • Lettering: Motor Harley-Davidson Cycles
  • Details: Grey feathered wings, white eagle head, yellow beak and talons, red shield outlines and pale central lettering
  • Shape: Contoured winged shield badge with black outer edging
  • Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

  1. Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
  2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the eagle upright and smooth the fabric beneath the shield and both wings.
  3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
  4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering the shield, eagle and both wing tips as instructed.
  5. Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.

Sew-On Option

Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, carefully following the wing tips and lower shield curve. Keep the fabric flat and avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.

Care

Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the wing tips from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
