Add a classic script accent to your patch arrangement with this GoldWing embroidered lettering badge. Flowing silver-tone letters contrast with the black background, framed by matching silver-tone edging.
Measuring 98 × 28 mm, the slim rectangular shape with rounded corners fits neatly into a patch arrangement on a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag. The curved lettering adds a distinctive contrast to block-letter and emblem designs.
- Design: GoldWing lettering in flowing script
- Patch color: Black & silver
- Size: 98 × 28 mm
- Details: Silver-tone embroidered lettering and matching outer border
- Shape: Slim horizontal rectangle with rounded corners
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright and smooth the fabric beneath the entire rectangle.
- Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering the centre, edges and rounded corners as instructed.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the outer border, carefully following the rounded corners. Keep the fabric flat and avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the edges from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
