Add a distinctive touring-inspired detail to your patch arrangement with this GoldWing embroidered badge. A gold-tone eagle with red wing accents sits to the left of flowing GoldWing script, creating a long horizontal design on black fabric.
Measuring 145 × 45 mm, the badge combines a contoured eagle section with a slim lettering strip. Position it on a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag to bring together a winged emblem and classic script in one patch.
- Design: GoldWing script beside a spread-wing eagle emblem
- Patch color: Black, gold-tone & red
- Size: 145 × 45 mm
- Details: Gold-tone embroidered lettering and eagle with red wing accents
- Shape: Long horizontal strip with contoured eagle section on the left
- Gold-tone describes the thread colour, not precious-metal content
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Align the lettering upright and smooth the fabric beneath the eagle and full lettering strip.
- Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering the eagle, lettering strip and outer edges as instructed.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, carefully following the contoured eagle section and lettering strip. Keep the fabric flat and avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the edges from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
