Create a clean motorcycle-inspired accent with this black and white Ducati embroidered patch. White Ducati lettering stands out against a black background, framed by a white stitched border. The elongated badge has slanted sides and rounded corners, giving the simple two-colour design a distinctive silhouette.
Use the narrow shape as a standalone detail on a suitable jacket, vest or bag, or work it into a larger motorcycle patch arrangement. The contrasting lettering and border bring definition without additional colours or decorative motifs.
- Design: White Ducati lettering on a black background
- Patch color: Black & white
- Size: 113 × 36 mm
- Shape: Elongated badge with slanted sides and rounded corners
- Border: White stitched outline
- Style: Embroidered motorcycle logo badge
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if the backing is adhesive and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Use this method only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric tolerates the required heat. Avoid coated or heat-sensitive materials.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering level and check the alignment of the slanted badge before pressing.
- Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and choose a temperature permitted by both the garment and adhesive backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering both ends and the long edges without exceeding fabric limits.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the attachment. Follow backing instructions for any further pressing, or reinforce the border with stitches.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment and stitch around the outer border. Secure the rounded corners and slanted ends carefully, avoiding unwanted pocket or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce an adhesive attachment where appropriate.
Care
Follow the garment and backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and do not iron the design directly without a pressing cloth. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Check manufacturer guidance before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
