Give your next motorcycle-themed customisation project a distinctive retro focal point with this Ducati Meccanica Bologna embroidered patch. Cream-coloured wings stretch across a circular emblem, carrying red-outlined Ducati lettering and black Meccanica Bologna text. A green leafy wreath fills the left side, balanced by a red and white geometric design on the right.

Black stitched outlines define the feathered wing tips and rounded badge, bringing the contrasting colours together. Position it on a suitable jacket, vest or bag to create a vintage-style motorcycle detail, or add it to your embroidered badge collection.

  • Design: Ducati Meccanica Bologna winged circular emblem
  • Patch color: Cream, green, red, white & black
  • Size: 112 × 68 mm
  • Details: Green leafy wreath, red and white emblem, cream wings and contrasting lettering
  • Border: Black stitched outline following the wings and circular badge
  • Style: Embroidered vintage-style motorcycle logo badge
  • Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only with an adhesive backing and heat-compatible garment

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

  1. Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Use an iron only if the patch has an iron-on adhesive backing and the fabric tolerates the required heat. Avoid coated or heat-sensitive materials.
  2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the patch with the wings aligned and check the placement before applying heat.
  3. Cover the whole patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and choose a temperature permitted by both garment and adhesive instructions.
  4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering both wing tips and the rounded sections without exceeding fabric limits.
  5. Let the patch cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any further pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitches.

Sew-On Option

Use a needle and thread appropriate for your garment and sew around the black outer border. Secure the narrow wing tips and curved edges carefully. Avoid stitching through pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative where heat application is unsuitable and can reinforce an adhesive attachment where appropriate.

Care

Follow the garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and do not place a hot iron directly on the design. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Check manufacturer guidance before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
