Buell American Motorcycles Oval Patch

This oval embroidered Buell patch features bold black Buell lettering against a white upper field. The words AMERICAN MOTORCYCLES appear in white across the black lower section. A broad black surround joins the two areas into a horizontal monochrome badge.

The compact 80 × 35 mm shape makes a distinctive accent for a suitable jacket, vest or fabric bag. Use the oval on its own for a simple logo-focused arrangement, or leave space around its curved outline when combining it with other motorcycle-themed patches.

Product Details

  • Design: Buell wordmark with AMERICAN MOTORCYCLES lettering
  • Size: 80 × 35 mm
  • Patch color: Black and white
  • Shape: Horizontal oval
  • Finish: Embroidered lettering and stitched outer edge
  • Application: Iron-on or sew-on
  • Suggested uses: Suitable jackets, vests and fabric bags

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

  1. Check the garment care label and adhesive backing instructions. Do not iron heat-sensitive, coated or non-ironable fabrics.
  2. Lay the fabric flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the patch adhesive-side down.
  3. Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Turn off steam and select a temperature permitted by both the fabric and backing instructions.
  4. Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and never exceed the garment's heat limits.
  5. Let the patch and fabric cool completely. Gently check the curved edges. Follow backing instructions for any repeat pressing or secure the border with suitable stitches.

Sew-On Option

Use a suitable needle and thread to stitch around the oval outer edge. Avoid catching pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for materials that cannot tolerate ironing and can reinforce an iron-on attachment where appropriate.

Care

Follow garment and patch care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and never place an uncovered hot iron directly on the design. This is a decorative patch, not protective riding equipment; check manufacturer guidance before altering technical motorcycle clothing.
