Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

1. Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Centre the wide patch and smooth the fabric underneath.
3. Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
4. Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Work across the complete design as directed, including the letter tips and guitar neck, without sliding the iron.
5. Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required. Reinforce the perimeter with stitching where suitable.

Sew-On Option

Secure the large patch flat and stitch around its contoured border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Work carefully around the angular lettering and narrow guitar neck. Keep fabric smooth and avoid pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.

Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect projecting edges from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective equipment.
