This Vespa Castrol embroidered shield patch combines a green panel with a black-and-white checkerboard pattern. Black Vespa lettering spans the white top panel, while a circular Castrol emblem with red text sits on the green side. A black stitched border frames the pointed shield.
Measuring 72 × 87 mm, the badge adds a scooter racing detail to a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag. Its split design pairs a bright green field with contrasting checks for a motorsport-inspired patch arrangement.
- Design: Vespa lettering above a Castrol emblem and checkerboard panels
- Patch color: Green, black, white & red
- Size: 72 × 87 mm
- Shape: Shield
- Details: White upper panel, black Vespa text, red Castrol lettering and black stitched border
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment permits ironing
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if adhesive backing is present and the fabric permits heat application. Avoid leather, coated and heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright and smooth the fabric underneath.
- Cover the embroidery with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
- Apply the time and pressure specified by the backing instructions. Cover the whole shield and its lower point without sliding the iron.
- Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.
Sew-On Option
Secure the badge in position and stitch around its shield border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Keep the fabric flat, follow the curved sides and lower point and avoid catching pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing and avoid scrubbing the embroidery. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical riding clothing.
