Iron-On & Sewing Instructions

Check the backing first. Only iron on if a heat-activated adhesive backing is present and the garment care label permits ironing. The backing cannot be confirmed from the front photo. If uncertain, sew the patch on instead.

1. Position the patch on the garment on a firm, heat-resistant surface.
2. Cover with a thin cotton pressing cloth.
3. Use a dry iron without steam. Follow the adhesive supplier's temperature and pressing-time instructions, never exceeding the garment's permitted ironing temperature.
4. Allow to cool completely before checking the bond.
5. Stitch around the border for secure attachment, particularly on frequently washed items.

Do not iron onto leather, coated fabrics or heat-sensitive synthetics unless expressly permitted by their manufacturer. Sew on when the fabric is unsuitable for heat.

Care Instructions

• Follow the garment care label and backing instructions, choosing the gentler requirements.
• Where washing is permitted, wash inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
• Do not bleach, soak or scrub the embroidery.
• Air dry; avoid tumble drying and direct heat.
• Use a pressing cloth when ironing the garment and avoid direct contact with the embroidery.
• Check the edges after washing and secure lifting edges with stitches.
