How to Apply with an Iron

1. Check the garment's care label and adhesive backing instructions. Use the sew-on method for heat-sensitive, coated or non-ironable fabrics.
2. Lay the garment on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the patch with the adhesive side against the fabric, keeping both the upper emblem and name strip flat.
3. Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and choose a temperature compatible with the garment and adhesive backing.
4. Press firmly without sliding the iron, following the backing's recommended heating time. Never exceed the garment's permitted temperature or heating time.
5. Let the patch and garment cool completely before checking the edges. If attachment is incomplete, follow the backing instructions for another press or secure the border with stitches.

Sew-On Option and Care

Sew around the shaped outer border with a thread suitable for your garment. Additional edge stitching is an option for frequently washed clothing. Follow the garment's care label, check the attachment before washing and avoid placing an uncovered hot iron directly on the embroidery.
