Moto Guzzi Italian Flag Patch – Gold Eagle Embroidered Badge

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

1. Check the patch backing instructions and garment care label. Proceed only if heat-activated adhesive is present and the fabric permits ironing. Avoid heat-sensitive, coated and leather surfaces unless their manufacturer permits heat application.
2. Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the patch with the lettering upright and smooth the fabric underneath.
3. Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam. Use the temperature specified for the backing within the garment's permitted heat range.
4. Apply the time and pressure specified in the backing instructions. Treat the centre, edges and corners without sliding the iron.
5. Allow it to cool completely before gently checking attachment. Follow backing instructions if further pressing is required, or reinforce with stitching where suitable.

Sew-On Option

Secure the patch in position and stitch around its rectangular outer border using a needle and thread suitable for your garment. Keep the fabric flat and avoid catching pockets or unwanted lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.

Care

Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the corners from snagging. Do not iron directly onto the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
