Add a colourful cruiser-inspired detail to your patch arrangement with this Honda Shadow Sabre embroidered lettering badge. Sweeping red Shadow script is framed by yellow outlines, with smaller yellow Sabre lettering below on a black background.
Measuring 115 × 24 mm, the slim contoured design follows the extended curves of the script. Position it on a suitable jacket, vest, backpack or fabric bag for a distinctive red, yellow and black accent.
- Design: Shadow script above smaller Sabre lettering
- Patch color: Red, yellow & black
- Size: 115 × 24 mm
- Details: Red embroidered Shadow lettering with yellow outlines and yellow Sabre text
- Shape: Slim contoured lettering strip with sweeping ends
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the fabric is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the lettering upright and smooth the fabric beneath the full strip.
- Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering the centre, extended ends and all edges as instructed.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, carefully following the curved lettering contours and extended ends. Keep the fabric flat and avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the edges from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
