Add a winged skull detail to your motorcycle patch arrangement with this Harley-Davidson embroidered badge. A grey skull sits between outstretched wings on a black background, topped by a curved grey banner with red Harley-Davidson lettering.
The wide 126 × 56 mm silhouette fits into a personal arrangement on a suitable jacket, vest or fabric bag. Grey feather outlines and dark facial details give the compact design a clearly defined look.
- Design: Central skull with outstretched wings and curved Harley-Davidson banner
- Patch color: Grey, black & red
- Size: 126 × 56 mm
- Details: Grey skull and feather outlines, black facial details and red lettering
- Shape: Wide contoured badge with black outer edging
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Use this method only with an iron-on adhesive backing and heat-compatible fabric. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer permits it.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the skull upright with the banner above it and smooth the fabric beneath the wings.
- Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and use only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering the centre, banner and wing tips as instructed.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer edge, following the curved banner and wing contours while keeping the fabric flat. Avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow the garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the shaped edges from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
