Make a bold centrepiece of your patch layout with this round Harley-Davidson skull and gear embroidered back patch. A white skull with yellow shading and an open jaw sits over a flared cross outlined in red and yellow. Curling flame details fill the black centre, while two white stars flank the design.
An orange outline follows the gear-tooth outer contour and frames the curved white Harley-Davidson and Motor Cycles lettering. At 240 mm in diameter, this large badge creates a prominent accent on a suitable jacket, vest or spacious fabric bag.

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Use this method only with an iron-on adhesive backing and heat-compatible fabric. Avoid coated or heat-sensitive materials unless their manufacturer expressly permits ironing.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Check the full 240 mm placement, align the skull upright and smooth the gear-tooth outline flat.
- Cover the entire patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both garment and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature. Work across the large design as directed, covering the centre, lettering and toothed border without exceeding garment heat limits.
- Allow everything to cool completely before gently checking the outline. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the edges with stitches.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment and stitch around the contoured black border. Secure the projecting gear teeth carefully while keeping the fabric flat. Avoid sewing through unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for ironing and can reinforce an adhesive attachment where appropriate.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the gear-tooth edge from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
