Create a wide motorcycle-inspired focal point with this Harley-Davidson big embroidered patch. Light grey flames extend to both sides of a central circular emblem on a black background. The grey ring has pointed, spike-like details, with Harley lettering above and Davidson below. A horizontal Motorcycles banner crosses the centre.
The monochrome colour scheme highlights the flowing flame shapes and bold black lettering. Its broad, contoured silhouette makes a striking centrepiece for a suitable jacket back, vest or patch display. Check your available fabric area before positioning the full design.
- Design: Harley-Davidson circular emblem with Motorcycles banner and spreading flames
- Patch color: Black & light grey
- Size: 285 × 120 mm
- Style: Big embroidered motorcycle and biker back patch
- Details: Spiked circular ring, black lettering and light grey flame embroidery
- Shape: Wide contoured silhouette with black outer edging
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Read the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Use this method only with an iron-on adhesive backing and heat-compatible fabric. Avoid coated or heat-sensitive materials.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Align the central banner and smooth both ends of the wide patch so the entire outline lies flat.
- Cover the design with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select a temperature permitted by both garment and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding. Follow the backing's specified temperature and pressing time, working across the full width as directed and covering the flame ends without exceeding garment heat limits.
- Let the patch cool completely before gently checking the perimeter. Follow backing instructions for any further pressing, or reinforce the shaped outline with stitches.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suited to your garment and sew around the black outer contour. Secure both extended ends and follow the curved flame-shaped edges carefully. Avoid unwanted pocket or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative where ironing is unsuitable and can reinforce an adhesive attachment where appropriate.
Care
Follow garment and backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the extended ends from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the design. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Check manufacturer guidance before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
