Mark a century of motorcycle history in your patch arrangement with this Harley-Davidson 100th anniversary wings design. Grey embroidered wings extend from a central red-and-black Motor Harley-Davidson Cycles shield, with white lettering and outlines adding contrast.
The dates 1903 and 2003 sit across the wings, while a curved lower section carries the number 100. Measuring 160 × 61 mm, this wide badge adds an anniversary-themed detail to a suitable jacket, vest or fabric bag.
- Design: Winged Harley-Davidson shield with 100th anniversary motif
- Patch color: Grey, black, red & white
- Size: 160 × 61 mm
- Lettering: Motor Harley-Davidson Cycles, 1903, 2003 and 100
- Details: Layered grey feather design, white outlines and shaped black edging
- Application: Sew onto suitable fabric; iron on only if an adhesive backing is present and the garment permits heat application
Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions
- Check the garment care label and patch backing instructions. Proceed only if an iron-on adhesive backing is present and the garment is heat-compatible. Do not iron leather, coated or heat-sensitive fabrics unless their manufacturer permits it.
- Lay the garment flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Position the shield upright and smooth the fabric beneath the entire winged design.
- Cover the patch with a thin cotton pressing cloth. Switch off steam and select only the temperature permitted by both the garment label and backing instructions.
- Apply firm, even pressure without sliding the iron. Follow the backing's specified pressing time and temperature, covering the shield, wings and curved lower edge as instructed.
- Allow everything to cool fully before gently checking the edges. Follow backing instructions for any additional pressing, or reinforce the outline with stitching where appropriate.
Sew-On Option
Use a needle and thread suitable for the garment. Stitch around the black outer border, following the wing tips, shield and curved lower section while keeping the fabric flat. Avoid catching unwanted pockets or lining layers. Sewing is an alternative for fabrics unsuitable for heat and can reinforce adhesive attachment.
Care
Follow garment and patch backing care instructions. Check the attachment before washing, avoid scrubbing the embroidery and protect the shaped edges from snagging. Never place a hot iron directly on the embroidered face. This decorative patch is not protective riding equipment. Consult the garment manufacturer before modifying technical motorcycle clothing.
