Iron-On & Sewing Instructions

Sewing around the entire border is recommended for secure attachment of this large patch. Check the backing before using heat: only iron on if heat-activated adhesive is present and the garment care label permits ironing. If unsure, sew on instead.

1. Lay the garment flat and position the patch, checking alignment before attaching.
2. For sewing, secure the patch in place and stitch around the entire outer border using suitable thread.
3. If the backing supports ironing, place a thin cotton pressing cloth over the embroidery and use a dry iron without steam.
4. Follow the adhesive supplier's temperature and pressing-time instructions, without exceeding the garment's permitted ironing temperature. Work evenly across the patch as directed.
5. Allow everything to cool completely before checking the bond. Reinforce the border with stitches.

Do not iron onto leather, coated fabrics or heat-sensitive synthetics unless the material manufacturer permits it. Sew on when heat is unsuitable.

Care Instructions
